Creating a Social Impact

Community

We love immersing ourselves in new projects and industries, but we also hope to make a difference on our campus in Ithaca, NY.  Social Enterprise Group at Cornell promotes social impact as a career through on-campus events, conference attendance, and open lectures.

Education

Our Education Series pulls on the knowledge of past students, current students, and Cornell University faculty to produce lectures on the social enterprise spectrum, corporate social work, the frameworks used to approach social and business problems, and presentation skills needed to present these ideas.

Strategy Consulting

SEGC partners with social enterprises, for profit and nonprofit organizations, to analyze and solve problems that have real impact in their respective communities. Most recently, SEGC worked with a non-profit women's organization to analyze and recommend sustainable growth strategies.

Social Good

Our students are dedicated to making an impact beyond the classroom. We recruit for drive and skill set, but what's most important to our team above all is demonstrated passion for improving one's communities and driving social business impact.
